| Our Pricing Guide With Poni-X Productions , you can be assured that you are getting the best entertainment at the best prices. We have done our research and encourage you to do the same. We want you to know that there really isn't a better choice in entertainment than Poni-X Productions, so we have posted our findings here for you to compare. We do this only for your benefit, not ours. We understand that this is a difficult decision and you want your occasion to be memorable, and what do people remember the most about any event they attend? The entertainment. So take a few minutes and read through the page, then collect your own information. We've even provided a search bar for you, so go ahead and use it. Skip to Our Pricing Let us know if there is anything we can do to help! No Pricing? We have found that there are a lot of companies out there that don't list there pricing online for you. Though, most of the time, all events, in their own catagories, consist of the same aspects. However, there are certain types of events that do require different pricing per event, but not for weddings, parties, dances, etc. They do, however, list the different packages you can buy. This done for a reason, to get you hyped up on their best possible package so you won't settle for the smaller package when you get your pricing. What is that pricing? Well, some will have a guide, others...who knows, what are you willing to pay? Pricing Available Now, as for those who list their pricing for you, kudos to them, first of all. Why wouldn't they be up front about what they charge? This, we all know from our own experiences, is the proper way to do business. And it shows that they are a fair, no-nonsense type of business. This is where we focused our research to bring you quality entertainment at a low, competitive price. Here's what we found: (Being a reputable business, we will not resort to derogatory comments or listing other company names. We will just provide you with the information we found on their pricing.) Site A: Offers you the "Ultimate Package," which gives you six hours of entertainment. Included in this package is: a 4 speaker system, "club light show," cordless mic (for you to use throughout the night) , and a 2nd "interactive" DJ. All for $995, comparing it to "Other DJs at $1525." Site B: All I found here was that they have a "normal" price of $695 for 4 hours, a web price for the same time of $595, and a special for $495. Site C: A "Just the Basics" package gives you:4 hours of consecutive entertainment, on-line wedding planner and music selection, and pre-wedding consult for final plans. Prices ranging from $629 to $729. Site D: Provides you with an extensive list of items that they have at their disposal. You supposedly get all of it for your event for $550. Though they say, in the list of items, that there is no set up or tear-down fee and no hidden charges, they still ask you to request a quote which may or may not include travel and set up fees, also because the price could change based on your needs. Site E: States that their prices are extremely competitve and affordable with no travel fees or hidden costs. Normal prices range from $595 to $795 within 75 miles of Greater Cleveland. Site F: This company offers you two packages, one without karaoke, and one with karaoke. The first package is said to be hourly and a FLAT $700 for 5 TO 6 hours, and the second (with karaoke) is the same "hourly" package with and additional $150 for the karaoke. Site G: This company introduces itself on its homepage right off the bat by putting down other DJ Services, however, does have a lower price of $500 for 5 hours, no mention if it's a package or hourly. Site H: This company has done his research too, and we are glad to see that. They state the same thing we do about expensive (not always best) & cheap DJs (usually the worst). They give you average prices for not only North Eastern Ohio ($600 to $1400 for 4 hours), but also Pennsylvania ($500 to $850). Does not give you their prices, though. Site I: This next one just gives you hourly pricing: $595 for 3 hours, $795 for 4, & $995 for 5. Site J: Prices start out at $399 for 4 hours Sunday through Friday. Saturdays depend on length and location. Included in the pricing is: the cordless microphone, music, back-up system, and the DJ. Site K: For $550 PLUS feeding up to four people, you get 6 hours of music & the standard lighting package (which "exceeds most DJs best packages") Site L: Prices for weddings are $100 per hour with a minimum of 4 hours, and $50 for each additional hour. All other events are the same, except it is $60 for the additional hours. You get two DJs, professional equipment with backups, state-of-the-art light show, special effects, party props, reception planning, photos of event on website, and music. There is a $25 travel fee for events that are more han 25 miles from Massillon. Sike M: You get a 6 hour DJ Package for $650 (regularly $750). Also offers extras: Photo Memory DVD ($129 - reg. $149), Reception Projection ($149 - reg. $175), 5 DVD copies ($60 - reg. $75). All in a package which equals $988. Our Pricing: DJ, Karaoke, & Event Hosting Small Events & Parties = $99/hour* School Dances/Reunions & Wedding Receptions = $120/hour* Large Events = request quote Bars & Night Clubs = request quote Bar Mitzvahs & Bat Mitzvahs = request quote *You pay only for the time of your event, we feel that the set-up and tear-down are an obvious part of the job and are therefore included in the price. We provide you with the DJ, music, lights and mic(if needed) because we know that these are typically essential parts of all events. We only have three "requirements": - 1.) a minimum of three hours - 2.) a 35 cents per mile charge for every mile AFTER 25 miles from Akron, OH. (total of 50 miles, bothways.) ex. if you are 40 miles away (total of 80 miles), you will only pay for 30 miles. (15 each way) Check your distance here -> - 3.) a $100 deposit to reserve your date. deposit is refundable up to 3 days after it is made for events within 3 months from signing contract, 15 days for events between 3 & 6 months, and 30 days for events scheduled after 6 months. (If we are able to reschedule our services for the evening after you have cancelled, we will revert this and still offer refund after the grace period has expired.) |
